About

Recruitment costs too much and asks too much.

An employer pays eleven thousand dollars to fill a support worker role. A worker fills in the same form forty times and re-uploads the same certificate to every one. Both of those are solved problems that nobody bothered to solve.

What we are

A pool of Perth care workers who have told us, recently, that they are still looking. Their clearances and certificates sit with us, with the dates tracked, and employers near them can see who is available without ringing round.

What we are not

We are not a job board and we are not a marketplace. We do not rate people, rank them, or tell an employer that somebody is suitable. We have not met them. What we pass on is dated facts and the documents behind them.

That restraint is not modesty. This sector supports vulnerable people, and a confident guess dressed up as an assessment is worse than saying nothing at all.

How it runs

Mostly by software. Registration, screening, document capture, expiry tracking and the fortnightly availability check are automated, which is why the fee can be a third of what an agency charges. A person handles the things a person should: anything flagged for review, anything disputed, and the phone.

Where we are up to

Disability and aged care in Perth is open. Nothing else is, and every other sector on this site says so plainly on its own page. We are not licensed as an employment agent in WA yet, so we charge nobody anything.

What we publish

Exactly what each word on this site means, including the credentials we can confirm and the ones we cannot. The price, before you ask for it. And the guides, each checked against the issuing authority and stamped with the date, because most of what is written about this paperwork online is out of date and some of it is wrong.
