Working With Children Check
A Working With Children Check is a state-run background check required for child-related work. Each state runs its own: Queensland calls it a Blue Card. The paid fee ranges from $87 in Western Australia to $139.20 in Victoria, and it lasts three years in WA and five in New South Wales and Victoria.
Each state runs its own scheme, with its own name, its own authority and its own fee. What you hold in one state is often no use in another.

This is one card. Most people carry four or five, each renewing on a different clock, and lose a shift when one quietly lapses. Work out which of yours runs out first, or register and we track every date and chase you before any of them turn red.
